Torre Di Talamonaccio
Historic Spanish tower can accommodate up
to 8 guests.Tucked away in a magical corner of SouthernTuscany,
perched up on top of a cliff overlooking the sea - but not too far
from places which are historically interesting, and amongst the
authentic natural wonders of the Maremma Natural Park, stands the
Talamonaccio Tower, a historic Spanish tower erected to protect
against the Saracen invasions. Torre di Talamonaccio has recently
undergone restoration and is now the ideal house to rent for one's
exceptional holidays. The tower is surrounded by two terraces, one of
which has been transformed into a splendid panoramic lookout with
jacuzzi, amongst the greenery of the garden, equipped with a few
essential pieces of sporting gear and deckchairs. It is the perfect
place to sit and enjoy the wonderful sunshine or, after sunset, to
enjoy the company of good friends and a glass of wine around the
barbecue.

The Tower also has its own
independent walking trail, which leads directly to the sea, and
its own private sunbathing deck, which gives the opportunity of
private boat docking. The tower is set on private land, which is
closed with an electronic security gate. Guests will be
thoroughly impressed with the wonderful view and natural
beauties which stretch out from every corner of the tower. A
small boulevard of magnificent agavi cacti lead to the front
door, creating a romantic and exotic atmosphere.
Through the front door on the right, is a wide dining area with
a fireplace, and two double bedrooms. Each bedroom has an
independent bathroom, one with a tub and the other with a shower.
Continuing on along the entrance corridor to the left of the
dining room is a fully equipped modern kitchen and, at the end
of the corridor, another bedroom which also has its own bathroom
with shower and tub.
At the end of this corridor, a staircase leads to the first
floor where guests find an enormous living room with
air-conditioning and a fireplace and a fabulous panoramic view.
This living room is furnished with comfortable lounge chairs and
couches on one side of the room, and an antique wooden table for
eight on the other side. This room gives access to a splendid
terrace, which is, can be used for both dining and sunbathing.
The breathtaking view captures Porto S. Stefano and the hills of
Mount Argentario as well as Talamon with its charming walled
town among the hills of Uccellina National Park. The islands of
Giannutri, Giglio and Montecristo can also be seen from the
terrace. From the open space on the ground floor, there is a
staircase, which leads to the lookout tower. This has also been
restored and is divided into two floors. It is made up of a
double bedroom, with a small bathroom containing shower
facilities, walk-in wardrobe and living room corner. From the
second floor, guests have access to a small terrace. The
Talamonaccio Tower is equipped with satellite television,
direct-dial telephone and Internet connection.
"La Torre di Talamonaccio" is located along the via Aurelia, the
closest village is Talamone at 4 km distance. If you wish to
explore the coast, the castle has its own 36-foot motorboat.
Cruises along the Maremma coastline, discovering beautiful
locations such as the Island of Elba and the Argentario. Guided
tours to the historically important wineries in Bolgheri such as
Sassicaia and Ornellaia, with wine tasting. The managers of the
property can arrange visits to local vineyards including tasting
